Wildfire Analyst™ includes a set of new important technical approaches that increase the reality between the real fire spread and the Wildfire Analyst simulation results. These new technical approaches include the following features:

- Allows the definition of several ignition points/lines, firebreaks and fuel models as simulation conditions change.
|
- Allows the adjustment of fire front final speed for each fuel type.
|
- Real time weather connections to weather stations and weather forecast data.
|
- Key input maps and parameters (fuels moisture, wind, etc.) can be edited and modified in real time to account for real observed conditions
|
- Definition and calculation of firebreaks in relation to their width and type (not as absolute barriers).
|
- Uses high definition Wind fields based on finite elements, which fit the topography, and the roughness of fuels. Integrates weather prediction data and/or real time wind data.
